Runescape hacker escapes jail

Defending Burrell, Stuart Jeffery said his client used the fairyland to try to handle problems in real life.
“It is clear he failed to find the long-term consequences because that world wasn’t real.”
District Judge Tim Daber sentenced Burrell, from Northamtpon, to some 12-month community order with supervision and 150 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay ￡100 costs and told to forfeit his two computers.
